The location for this video is an abandoned Soviet military camp in Wünsdorf – located around 40km from Berlin. It was once home to as many as 75,000 Soviet men, women and children and was the high command for Soviet forces in Germany from 1945 – 1994. It is now completely abandoned.
The Kiosk is a temporary gallery and studio residency housed in the historic Katoomba Falls Kiosk, overlooking Mt Solitary in the Blue Mountains, Australia. The space runs a creative development program for Blue Mountains artists, in a joint initiative of Modern Art Projects (MAP) and Toolo (Blue Mountains Tool Library).
MAP is a social and cultural engagement program designed to explore the nexus of art and architecture via a broad inter disciplinary field.
Toolo is a dynamic tool library and ongoing advocate for makers, artists and the wider community to access tools and equipment for any project they want to undertake.
